The Allied Powers
The Allied Powers were made up mostly by Great Britain, France, Russia, Italy, and the
United States. The Russians had a treaty with the French which made them allies. Britain
France both understood that Germany needed to be stopped so they became allies as well,
forming what is known today as the Triple Entente.
